Job Description

The Director of Sales for Freight North Logistics USA will be responsible for driving and executing growth strategies to expand our business within the freight industry. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and building successful partnerships. The Director of Sales will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, establishing, and maintaining relationships with key clients, and developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in sales, particularly within the trucking and logistics sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high revenue targets independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight industry to expand market share and generate growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partnering with them to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead the development and execution of the business development strategy, including market research, competitor analysis, and targeting potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Present business development plans and updates to senior management, providing regular reports and analysis to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate and close deals in senior management, ensuring that all contracts and agreements are aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and to position Freight North Group as an industry leader.
  • Attend industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events to build relationships, promote the company's services, and generate leads.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
